A record a day…
So after a few weeks of being bored with my music, and being completely overwhelmed at the amount of stuff that’s out there that I’ve never heard, I had an idea. A quick internet search tells me that I’m certainly not the first one to attempt it, but for 365 days I want to listen to one record every single day that I’ve never heard before. There are so many records, even by bands and artists that I enjoy, that I’ve never actually put on from beginning to end and listened all the way through. I’m open to anything, I want to expand my horizons. Hip hop, punk, indie, comedy, classic rock…whatever. So I will use this as a log of my new musical adventures. Sometimes writing a few words about what I listened to, sometimes not. It’s not really intended for anybody to read it, I don’t expect people to really care what I’m listening to. Having this, however, will make me commit to it and not get lazy and miss a day.
